Yoshi's Land For Wii U Resurfaces

Nintendo has announced a bunch of games for the Wii U's launch window through March, but that's currently it. However, Yoshi's Land is a game that keeps popping up for the console.

A NeoGAF poster sighted retail listings for the game at Best Buy's Canadian website, as well as in the retailer's subsidiary Future Shop.

Last week the game was also seen in a Miiverse debug menu that Nintendo said was a "mock up" after taking it down. It's unknown if the retailer posted the Yoshi's Land listing based on the debug menu information, or from another source.

I really hope they stick with how the Yoshi's Island games looked, because I'm tired of seeing the New Super Mario Bros. style.

I hope it's true. Yoshi's Island's a great game. Speaking of which, Yoshi's Island's Super Replay's rather underrated, definitely one of my favourite Super Replays ever.

I will buy the Wii-U for a new Yoshi's Island. Give it a nice artsy atmosphere, a pop-up book aesthetic maybe. It could also have a watercolor Okami look with thick black pencil outlines on everything....or you know, look like *** "new" super mario bros. wii. ugh. Nintendo plz.

To Nintendo If it's like Yoshi's Island: Give it to your best people, bring it out soon and we will all celebrate the launch date by giving you a mountain of money. If it's like Yoshi's Story: Just... just stop. Fire the current dev team, burn all the papers and infect every PC that has data on the project with a horrible virus.

A NEW hand-drawn Yoshi's Island game? Ummm if I didn't already have the console I would buy it specifically for that, I love that series.

I would rather see a new Metroid, or Earthbound first though. I definitely won't complain, the more 1st party titles from Nintendo the better.
