The lights are on
I spent about 15 or 20 minutes playing this browser game and I have no idea what just happened. Dubstep king Skrillex joined forces with Jason Oda to create a sort of 8-bit retro homage.
"Remember blowing the dust out of your NES cartridges when they glitched? This game is all about that from the perspective of the people within the game," Oda said on Facebook. "Skirllex also makes a cameo at the end."
The game has plenty of nods to classic 8-bit titles, specifically The Legend of Zelda. Head over to the official website to try it out for yourself.
dub dub dubstep
This was actually pretty fun. Here were my stats:
Enemies Killed 44/58
Times hurt 15
Woo, what did I just smoke? Oh wait, I think I just had a stroke from all the colors.
I prefer College for my electronic music fix.
I played it until it told me my heart was full of ***.
This is surprisingly fun...
Only Ephixa has had a remix that i liked.... even if you don't like dubstep... the drop isn't even a true drop which makes this so epic
I thought the music was pretty inoffensive, though it didn't seem to really fit the game's aesthetic. On the other hand, the flashing in this game (every time you hit an enemy, every time you get hit, the rapid glitchy flashing of enemies) was so painful I had to stop playing after ten minutes.
If you're epileptic or photosensitive, you might not want to play this.
I'm not a huge fan of dubstep, but I played it and it's kind of awesome.
"Dubstep king Skrillex"
I just played the game and it is truly a one of a kind unique experiences. Nostalgic with a modern twist and it was completely believable.
wow it was actually pretty fun
I can safely say that even though I broke my eardrums in the middle of playing, it was the best moment of my life.
Pretty awesome, thanks for sharing.
this shouldn't be happening. Skrillex shouldn't be happening for that matter.
