The lights are on
When BioShock Infinite ships next year the game won't have a multiplayer mode. Studio head Ken Levine confirmed the news in a series of tweets over the weekend. The original BioShock from 2007 did not contain multiplayer, however the sequel, developed by 2K Marin, did.
The long-developed game finally releases this February for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.

THANK GOD! Then they can focus more on SP.
I never played the multiplayer in BioShock 2.
So that would indicate that I'm perfectly fine with this decision.
That's perfectly fine by me! It doesn't need it.
And that's perfect with me. The campaign looks like it needs all the attention it deserves.
mulitiplayer has become kinda lame. seriously the peak of multiplayer for me was halo 2. why every game needs mulitiplayer in the vain of team death matches is beyond me.
Fine with me.
Good. Not every title needs MP shoehorned into it.
Good. Not every game needs multiplayer.
From what we've seen, it doesn't need it.
Not really suprising and im glad it wont to be honest
Oh no, what are fans of online multi going to play now?! Oh yeah, tons and tons of stuff that's already out.
