The fourth episode of Halo 4's Spartan Ops episodic cooperative mode, Didact's Hand, releases tomorrow. Here's the teaser to get you ready.
Synopsis: This week on Halo 4: Spartan Ops -- An unknown intelligence contacts Doctor Halsey, Thorne tries to understand the history of the Spartan Program, and the Sangheili terrorist known as "The Didact's Hand" appears on Requiem... but what is he searching for? Spartans, prepare for things to get rough on Requiem.

I have enjoyed Spartan Ops a lot since finishing the campaign. I never even tried Firefight, so I cannot speak to its comparisons to that. Never the less, Spartan Ops is entertaining. It is, however, repetitive as reported.
I would really like to see them use more assets from the campaign to make everything less repetitive. I would also like to see the story from the Episode videos reflected more in the actual missions.
The story is a pretty good way to continue the Halo 4 story. They just need to take advantage of the it better than they are.
