Capcom Details Replay And Tournament Modes For Darkstalkers Resurrection

Darkstalkers Resurrection is coming to Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network early next year, and Capcom has offered a few details about its new modes. Replay sharing was revealed when the game was announced, but now it has been revealed that you will be able to upload your replays to YouTube. Tournament mode has also been detailed which Capcom's Tomoaki Ayano outlines below:

"Aside from the usual Ranked and Player Matches, Darkstalkers Resurrection will also feature an online tournament mode for up to 8 players. You can set the tournament for a sudden death 1 game takes all, or set it to best of 2 or best of 3 if you really want players to test their mettle against each other. Of course, non-combatants can watch the matches in progress."

Darkstalkers Resurrection packages Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge and Darkstalkers 3 together. Here's the game's original launch trailer.

I honestly had no idea Darkstalkers was a fighting game. I guess that would explain why the trio in MvC3 had such a good move set. Don't think I'm gonna get this though, already too many Arcade/PSN fighters out there.

Upload them to YouTube!? Wow... I never expected Capcom to hit the modern age before all other games. You can't even do that with Halo, and that's Microsoft's flagship game. Hopefully more games will follow this trend as we progress.

I am appalled at how many people thought this was a new game and surprised that it happened. If your any type of a Darkstalkers fan, even remotely, you knew and hoped that something like this was coming so everyone in the new gen could finally stop asking "Wheres that vamp chick from? Whos the cat-girl stripper?" Thnx Capcom, well worth the wait =D

I'd like it on my Vita! C'mon Capcom! What's the deal of giving the handheld that can the short shrift? Port over RE4, and Revelations! I'd love to see Okami and more Mega Man 9 and 10! Hell, I'd love to see Mega Man!
