The lights are on
For the past few weekends, Team Meat, the developer behind Super Meat Boy, has been revealing characters from its next game Mew-Genics. This weekend we get to meet Butch.
According to Team Meat, "He's into some shady stuff... nothing he does is legal and if he has it his way nothing you will do will be legal either. I wonder how he got all those scratches...."
This is the final character reveal for the game. For the next few weeks Team Meat will continue to unveil details from the game, but they won't be character related.

Butch...that name just isn't as frightening as it used to be. Now I just giggle whenever I hear somebody calling themselves 'Butch' (because no right minded parent would name their son Butch when he was born). I suppose that it's short for "Butcher", but now if you character "Butcher" people will assume that he's a cliche of a mass murderer.
Judging by the people inside of Mew-Genetics alone, I really want this game.
Anyone else see the resemblance to Mr. Tinkles? Could they be brothers, or a multiple personality perhaps?
I'm scared to see what things team meat plans to do with these characters...
I would rather know a little bit about the game. These characters mean nothing to me since I have absolutely no idea what this game is. Super Meat Boy was great, so this will hopefully be as good or better.
"He's into some shady stuff..." hahaha :)
He must be a Cat burglar
If this "Butch" guy tried to steal from me, he'd come out with less limbs and no returns. And what use is a cute furball with two heads anyway? Can it undergo more testing with twice the brainpower?
I'm interested in this. I've yet to play Super Meat Boy but I'm in love with The Binding of Isaac.
Looks like something that will be a blast to play.
I don't really love any of them...
