It's hard, if not impossible, to avoid the consumer apocalypse that is Black Friday, but that doesn't mean you can't turn it to your advantage.

Black Friday signals the beginning of the holiday buying season, and there are plenty of sales going on for both software and hardware/software bundles.

What does a gamer do in the face of such low prices?

Are you buying thoughtful presents for friends and family, or do you have more selfish motives in mind? After all, what's wrong with spending your hard-earned cash on the person you love the most – yourself?

Please tell us what kinds of deals you've come across in the wild, and if you want to pretend you've bought said game or system for someone else as a gift, then we'll let your conscience be your guide.
