Hyrule Historia released last year in Japan alongside The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, and it reveals all kinds of details about the creation of the Zelda franchise, including the infamous and mysterious timeline for the series. A translated version of the book was announced back in August, and it will be availabale on January 29. You can now pre-order the book from Dark Horse Comics. And of course there is the trailer, which you can check out below.

I'm still kind of laughing about the whole timeline thing. Outside of the technicality of using branches, it wasn't a unified, single timeline after all :3
