The Last Story Is XSEED's Most Successful Title

Publisher XSEED announced The Last Story for the Nintendo Wii is the company's most successful title to date. A new standalone version of the game is shipping to retailers today for $29.99. Additionally, any remaining copies of the premium launch units at retailers are now available for $39.99. The Last Story released in North America on August 14, 2012. Sales figures were not disclosed at this time.

That's good for them. I was planning on getting this at launch, but I never did. Now with Wii U though, I think I'll wait to get it.

If Operation Rainfall has taught us anything, it's that good games can be very successful if introduced to the western market. Sure, not all games made in Japan are right for US and international releases, but publishers shouldn't hesitate when they see games like Xenoblade and Last Story and how much people in the US desire them.
