The lights are on
Nintendo's new Wii U console officially launched in North America yesterday. While the new device is sold out in most stores nationwide, some retailers still have many in stock nearly 24 hours later. We called 10 random stores at four retailers. None of the GameStop's we called had Wii Us in stock. Target and Best Buy each had Wii Us at four or more of the stores we called, however.
"While we will have a constant flow of inventory for the Wii U throughout the holidays, we expect there to be great demand for the console," a Best Buy spokesperson told Game Informer.
