The lights are on
Electronic Arts confirmed the upcoming single-player download content for Mass Effect 3, Omega, is not launching on Nintendo's Wii U console next week.
In a series of Twitter responses, EA was unable to say whether or not DLC content not available on the Wii U disc will ever become available. The publisher also was unable to confirm whether or not there were plans to release Mass Effect 1 and 2 on Wii U.
The Omega DLC launches on November 27 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC for $14.99 or 1200 Microsoft Points. The story centers on Omega ruler Aria T'loak who's out to retake the station from Cerberus control.
That's because EA is stupid, sorry.
Kinda feel bad for those with the Wii U. Maybe they might come up with something to make up for it. As for those with the other systems, things are about to amp up next week. Although....$15 is a bit much. Better be worth the money, especially for the big fans of Mass Effect.
I have wanted this DLC since I first talked to Aria in ME3 and found out Cerberus drove her out of Omega. I hope Omega is a hub world like in ME2 and can be revisited after you finish the DLC's story line.
omg i have the biggest backlog of games its not even funny
Hey wait a second, they didn't actually say it would skip Wii U as the headline claims. GI, I expect more of you guys!
EA = half asses it most of the time
They are slowly ruining my fav series, Dead Space, with their corporate requests to 'fix' the game each sequel
I can understand not releasing ME 1 and 2. But they should have made more of an effort to get this dlc in.
Well that's a fail. You couldn't put it on disc? Why buy the Wii U version?
Bethesda could take a huge lesson from this announcement.
Maybe in the future...
You probably can't store it on the system anyways
This dlc is useless on any console.Ifear for the next ME game if they couldnt get the last 2 right.
