The lights are on
Uncharted: Fight for Fortune is an Uncharted themed "action-adventure turn-based card game" coming exclusively to Vita in December.
Here's how the gameplay works:
"The core gameplay in Uncharted: Fight for Fortune involves creating a team of Faction cards featuring heroes, villains, and mercenaries from the UNCHARTED universe, then using that team to defeat your opponent while defending yourself from their attacks."
The game comes from the developers who created the Vita launch title, Uncharted: Golden Abyss. A patch will be releasing for Golden Abyss that will allow players to use the artifacts found in that game to augment their cards in Fight for Fortune. There will also be asynchronous competitive multiplayer, which I believe is a first for the Vita.
A card game is surprising choice for Uncharted. Is this something you're excited about?

I love Uncharted, but there's no way I'm getting this. It's probably a normal card game, with an Uncharted theme to sell a few extra copies.
Not to mix game quotes or anything, but I never asked for this.
I couldn't even watch half of that trailer. It's disgusting. whyyy?! :(
If it sells, it'll have a card game.
Might as well cash in while they can.
If it's an interesting card game, I'd probably get it for its $5 price tag.
They should have made a unique multiplayer spin-off with this "Fight for Fortune", but I guess they have their reasons.
It saddens me the amount of people that would have had to approve this idea for this game to get made.
This is not even close to the first asynchronous competitive play game for Vita. Hustle Kings pool had it and that was very close to the Vita's launch. That lame treasure hunting game also has it, hell even Little Deviants had it.
I do love myself some card games...
I'll probably have to pass on this one.
A Uncharted card game....? I certainly did not expect this. And judging from what I see in the trailer, I certainly will not get it either. In my opinion, Uncharted is all about adventure and discovery in a third-person game. Almost seems like they downgraded or something. Don't get me wrong, it looks like an intriguing idea. However, it doesn't look promising. Eh, who knows. Maybe it might pick up the hype. Maybe...
Let's hope this does good and is unique, I am a little tired of poker.
Sounds cool. I'll buy it, but will it be downloadable or retail?
