Mr. Torgue’s Campaign Of Carnage Is Borderlands 2's Next DLC

Update: Gearbox confirm the content is out November 20 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC for $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points.

This story-driven expansion challenges players to conquer all that the titular Mr. Torgue has waiting in his newly-constructed Badass Crater of Badassitude, complete with a new storyline, new areas and environments, new bosses, new guns, new character customizations and more. In addition, Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage features appearances from fan-favorite characters like Tiny Tina and Mad Moxxi!

Original Story: We don't have all the details just yet, but the second download content for Borderlands 2 is called "Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage." We don't know when the content is coming out or what it actually includes. The Twitter account for Gaige, the Mechromancer, was updated with tweets from Mr. Torgue himself.

So far, all we have is one screenshot shown above. If Gearbox drips out more info today we'll update this post. Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty was the first download content add-on released so far.

    UPDATE: It releases on November 20, so I guess we'll have all the answers we need in just four short days!


    My guess would be a vehicular version of Moxxi's Underdome. Perhaps a destruction derby or racing type of DLC. Obviously there will be an awesome new vehicle, possibly the "Party Truck" that was previously mentioned.

    Too bad Torgue weapons are the worst! Hopefully there is a Maliwan dlc later.

    Judging from the racing flag, I hope this expands upon vehicle customization: attach weapons you find to your vehicle (gatling gun on top of a car that combines the four weapons you have equipped in your pack?), adds new types of vehicles, etc.

    I just hope it's not a racing DLC :P Vehicular combat isn't Borderlands 2's strong suit.

    PS: Matchup between Mr. Torgue and Saxton Hale; who wins?

    I smell racing DLC based on that background. Would be nice for variety as well, for those who have Borderlands 2.
