The lights are on
Assassin's Creed III can be a bit...buggy from time to time. Ubisoft has thankfully recognized this and is releasing a new patch at the end of next week that offers many, many fixes. The entire list of patch notes includes over 100 fixes total. You can head over to the full list found on Ubisoft's forums here.
Note: the patch notes contain some spoilers.
I've posted a few of my favorites below:
- Fixed possible mission break if the player shoots the horse he's supposed to ride.
- Players could be stuck in the opera if they backtracked in a certain way after killing the target.
- Fixed a bug where the guard you're supposed to kill would not reappear if the player starts fighting him and then runs away.
- Fixed the issue where the bear could flee and eventually freeze.
Always love me a fixing patch.
Wow those are some pretty serious issues. Glad they're getting patched, and hopefully before I reach them. ;)
Good thing they are attending to the bugs quickly. Although, I haven't seen any bugs while watching my friend play it on the PS3. Despite that, it is a good thing they will have this patch up so it can prevent them from occurring anyways and anymore.
There were that many issues? Wow. Didn't seem like I ran across one. Which can only mean... I AM INVINCIBLE!?!? **Strips naked and runs into traffic**
Hopefully this patch is good to go for the PC release next week as well

Good, now maybe I won't fall through the forts anymore.
YESSS!!
It's over 100!!!!
Nope. Not quite the same. Always love me some bug fixes.
Sweet, by the time I play ACIII on Wii U these issues are likely to be resolved. Not sure they would have caused much issue to begin with if I were to have picked it up on another console mind you, many people have reviewed/played the game with only minor grips about glitches.
