The lights are on
As Nintendo gets set to release the Wii U, the original Wii is getting a new app that lets you watch something called "YouTube" on your television screen. I wonder if this thing will have any funny videos of cats engaging in hilarious hijinks?
Today, word came down from the official YouTube blog that Nintendo is adding a YouTube portal to the Wii's fronted interface. You'll be able sort by category and also subscribe to various YouTube channels. Here's the link to the app on the official Nintendo site. Now go watch some old rap videos and video bloggers talking about the Twilight movies.
I guess better late than never......I guess

I guess for people who aren't getting a Wii U any time soon? I believe the update come Wii U launch gives us all the media apps but I guess we'll see.

What is this You Tube that you speak of? Bah Humbug! This brand new thing called You Tube is just a passing fad for the kids and it will never catch on. Where's my ovaltine at?!
a little to late to the party arent we?
All right by me. Wish the 3DS had Youtube too.
Well, at least the owners of Wii who does not own a PC, PS3, Xbox and others will be able to watch the many videos on Youtube. May have taken time but the wait is over.
