I'm surprised Halo 4 isn't in that list.

Wow, what an interesting time for the gaming industry. TWO downloadable games and a new IP. I'm shocked that Halo 4 isn't up for nomination, though?

My GOTY is probably Halo 4 followed closely by Mass Effect 3 and Sleeping Dogs. Really glad to see The Walking Dead up there, Telltale did a really good job with it.

I would like to see Mass Effect 3 win.

Award shows.... It doesn't matter if its for acting, singing or games... Sometimes the people who win don't even deserve to win. That's why I hardly pay attention to them BUT... I will watch this one though. I'm interested to see who wins.

I'm rooting for Dishonored, I loved that game (even though it made all other stealth games I've played since extra hard since I can't zip around anymore). Kinda surprised Borderlands 2 isn't a candidate though.

I really like this list. All of them really deserve the recognition and I'm fine with Halo 4 not being nominated.It's a tough choice I really love The Walking Dead, Journey, and Mass Effect 3. The other two I really enjoyed as well but not as much. I would go with Journey but only by a slight margin.

Seeing Walking Dead, Journey or Dishonored win would set a nice example that uniqueness is actually something to strive for.

this list is actually shocking, especially considering past candidates. I thought it was a slow and uneventful year for Video games but having 2 (albeit really good) downloadable titles on this list just shows how the industry is changing. And Ill just come out and say it. I liked Assassins creed 3, but GOTY. As sloppy as that game was that seems rto be the most shicking thing about this list.

At least there are some more unique choices up there, although I'm not sure how many of them are GotY material.

Nice, the GOTY list matches what I would have nominated... except for Dishonored, couldn't get into it enough to finish it myself, I'll have to make time for it for a better judgment.

LOL Mass Effect 3 is nominated for RPG of the year?!?!?1 Since when is that game even considered an RPG? I'm sorry, but there is no excuse for ME3 or D3 getting the nod over Dragon's Dogma, Amalur, Witcher2 (x360), or Borderlands 2. Also, Halo 4 should be nominated for GOTY.

The Walking dead has been my game of the year since episode 2.

Xenoblade Chronicles deserved a nomination for Game of the Year, I hope it wins best Wii game though. I also feel that Borderlands 2 and Mark of the Ninja should also nominated for Game of the Year.

GotY I chose ME 3, It was just an amazing gaming experience.
