The lights are on
In August, Paul Meegan stepped down as president of LucasArts. Three months later, Paul finds himself at Epic Games as vice president of product development. Meegan first joined Epic in 2006 establishing Epic Games China.
“I’m really happy to be back in the Epic family and working with some of the best developers in the industry,” Meegan says. “Epic has demonstrated success in AAA PC and console games, mobile entertainment and the engine technology business. Epic is well-positioned to grow and thrive in the years ahead. The company is stepping up its game across the board, and I’m honored to be a part of that process."
Epic Games has seen a number of its top executives leave recently. Design director Cliff Bleszinski, producer Rod Fergusson, and People Can Fly creative director Adrian Chmielarz have all left the company in the past few months.

With all the talent leaving, I'm sure they're glad someone is coming back...sheesh.
Cool
I want CliffyB back though.
I'm assuming that his role is going to be based more on oversight. Have my doubts he is going to be as involved into game development as Cliff.
Very cool news. I'm glad he came back to Epic, with the major talent that left.
Only because they realized how embarrassing Star Wars: Kinect was and that not any sits were being given about, other, more popular game (Battlefront Series and Republic Commando)......
Good fit.
gratz on the new job ... guess its nice to go back to someplace you've been at times
ooooh
Seems like no one stays at the same company for more then 3 years now a days. But at least they know this guy and what be brings to the table, that huge hole left by Cliffy B though.
Cool for him.
Looks like Epic Games will be going futuristic from now on...
Hmmm....interesting news. Seems like Epic Games will step up later on.
The company needed him.
Looks like someone wanted to get away from Disney.
