The lights are on
Bethesda has released a slew of new screens for its upcoming expansion to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The Dragonborn DLC adds a host of new features and areas to explore.
Players will be able to journey to a new area, just off the coast of Morrowind, on December 4. At least, they will if they're playing on the Xbox 360. PC users will have to wait a bit for the exclusivity to wear off, and PS3 users will have to maintain their patience. Take a look at the gallery below to see some cultists, new towns, and some kind of floating turtle jellyfish thing. Yikes!

These are great can't wait to get back into Skyrim after a much needed break.
I am very excited for this DLC. I get laid off every winter, so Dragonborn will give me something to do. Between Dragonborn, Leviathan for ME3, Halo 4, Dishonored second play through and POSSIBLY the ME3 Omega DLC (unsure of release date), I should be happily entertained through the winter.
OMG! Is that a dragonmount!? Awesome!
Anyway, this looks very impressive. What would impress me even more is if Bethesda and Sony can get their acts together and get us PS3 users DLC sometime before this year is up. THAT would be impressive.
They should give everyone with a ps3 a redemption code for skyrim on pc
i know not all pcs can run it but idk it would be a nice gesture
Looks pretty awesome! Skyrim's been great so far, I'm glad to see Solstheim make a return. By the way, for those of you who do not know, the rock-like creature is called an Ash Spawn, the town pictured supposedly will be called RavenRock, the "floating turtle Jellyfish" is definitely a Netch, and the book apparently is called "The Black Book." A plane of Oblivion will also be in this DLC/expansion pack, as seen in the image with the green sky. I'm really liking the new Redoran Guard armor, looks rather well made, as does what looks like a Glass Dragonborn armor or something. By the way, I've determined a lot of this information based on the titles of the images when I copied them to my Mac's desktop, ie RedRock.jpeg, Oblivion.jpeg, AshSpawn.jpeg, etc etc.. I really hope though that the release of this expansion pack won't deter the makers of Skywind from finishing their project!
This actually looks like "more expansion like DLC" Beth actually promised, sweet. Expansion's are awesome.
Ohhh I think I saw some of Morrowind, huzzah!
Ahh Morrowind... How I've missed you. Looking forward to heading back to that land!
Why does all of the Morrowind stuff look so much better than everything from Skyrim? Probably because it looks less like Alaska and more like Tamriel ....
Well at least if the new content ever makes it to PS3 I'll practically have a whole new game to play.
I love the new song, i wonder if someone has gone to work on translating it yet
