The lights are on
Earlier today, it was reported that some copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops II for PC mistakenly included Mass Effect 2 discs. BioWare has responded with an interesting offer.
If you are one of the customers affected by a lack of Call of Duty: Black Ops II, currently suffering from a surplus of Mass Effect 2, send BioWare photographic proof. Here's BioWare's offer:
Rumor has it that about a thousand customers who purchased Call of
Duty: Black Ops II for PC today were also treated to a surprise copy of
Mass Effect 2. If you were one of the affected, chances are you thought
it was a mistake, but we prefer to think that it was an omen, and when
the universe talks, you should listen.
If the universe thinks that you should be playing Mass Effect right
now, who are we to argue? In fact, we want to help! The first fifty fans
affected by this phenomenon to send us a picture holding their special
disc 2 will receive a code for a FREE PC copy of Mass Effect Trilogy.

Nice. Besides, it's not like this is Bioware's fault. They have no control over the packaging of Activision productions.
Isn't that sweet ? BioWare just earned some brownie points in my book ?
Haha, this is like the video game publisher equivalent of EA taking out their balls and giving Activision the Arabian Goggles because they were stupid enough to fall asleep on the couch at the party.
I should do some Photoshop magic and try to get the games.
I like how Bioware makes good of a situation, despite me laughing really hard that that happened in the first place. Good job, Bioware!
Nicely done, but I bet that 51st person is gonna be really p*ssed :P
Well, well, for a blunder like that, they certainly have come up with a good offer to make up for it. Very impressive and very generious, BioWare.
Am I the only one confused about this? I mean its not like BioWare developed Black Ops...or that EA published it. It was made by Treyarch and Activision. So how did a game created by two companies end up with a label for a game made by two competitor companies? Same printing house I guess? But then why would the printing company have so many unlabeled copies of Mass Effect 2 laying around? I guess it doesn't matter, there will never be an answer.
This is awesome!!!!!!!
Haha, nicely played.
I love you Bioware.
hahhahah great play bioware you are the best haha
That is freakin' awesome!
These game companies that want a slice of the Call of Duty pie really need to understand the CoD fanbase. Developers: They probably think that Mass Effect and Resident Evil are "totally *homophobic slur*". But hey, maybe I'm wrong. (?)
Way to go Bioware! They really stepped up.
that's cool of them
Great offer by BioWare.
