Are You Still Playing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim released one year ago today, and it's a huge a game. Are you still playing it? This holiday season has had no shortage of huge expansive experiences. Assassin's Creed III offers a large open world with lots to do. Borderlands 2 has about 10 or 15 guns hidden across Pandora (there might be a few more, I'm not sure). Halo 4 has the Legendary difficulty, which should keep folks busy for a while, and a multiplayer mode that will keep people distracted until Halo 5 comes out. Then of course there is Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Resident Evil 6, and Paper Mario, a time-consuming RPG, that also released for 3DS today.

There are tons of games to play, many of which I did not list above, but I bet there are still a healthy number of gamers out there getting lost in the world of Skyrim. Even without the DLC, that game can steal your life away.

So what about you? Are you still playing Skyrim? Or have you moved onto something different?

  • One does not simply stop playing The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim

EDIT: In all seriousness, XCOM has taken a lot of my time lately, brilliant game. And cant wait for AC3 and Hitman on Nov 20.
  • I stopped playing after about 120 hours, I got sick of killing draugrs every dungeon.
  • Nope.

  • I played it ALLLLLL through summer with one character. I'm definitely looking forward to playing the PC version, though. Gonna try beating it with only mah fists and Fus Ro Dah.
  • I still play it every once in awhile not as much as I used to play. My friend still plays all the time and he ditches hanging out to go play sometimes
  • I'm 60 percent through Assassin's Creed III, gave up on Skyrim(PS3) months ago.
  • Just started again a week ago... so far played about 400 hours of it.
(And never finished the main quest :D)
  • No but Dragonborn is making a good argument sart up again

  • I pretty much stopped playing the month after it came out, getting 120 hours in. It's partly due to the lack of DLC for PS3, but prior to that it was because I pretty much did every quest that I had and could find, got the platinum, and had other games to get to.
  • I am eager to return!!!  I finished the game-minus a few treasure hunts in four months and enjoyed every ounce if it.  I did the same with Oblivion too.  I have not touched the game since the new stuff was added and I am sure I will love it all over again!!

  • Quit after about 150 hours on 360, around the time Amalur came out. Picked it up again after I got a new PC, wanted to test my computer and mess around with the Steam Workshop, and quit again after about only 15-20 hours. Don't plan on going back.
  • Yup! I was just playing it today.
  • i finished playing skyrim months ago. but i still have it. it's an amazing game for sure.

  • I am not still playing this game. I literally become addicted to it, and after about 4 months 150 + hours and 50/50 achievements I put it down and decided to just stop right there. + I dont have hardrive space for the dlc.
  • Yeah moved on.  I don't foresee any DLC bringing me back at this point.  I may play again later.

  • I put hunderds of hours into this game but I havent been playing as much lately...

been busy with PS+ content while I wait to get hitman in the 20th!!!

  • Ironically, I'm selling it today to a friend for $45. But that's the Xbox version. My family recently got a new expensive comp that can play games very well, so I want the of version so I can get mods. If it wasn't for me getting the of version in te next moth, there's no chance id sell it. I live that and. Can't believe it's only been a year. thank you, Casis the Night Elf. You have had many good adventures with me over the years, and shall not be forgotten
  • well .. i ... i haven't .. *gulps* alright i haven't played this one yet ; *hides in the corner* please don't hit me now .. no really, I'm THAT sad ... :/
  • No, I didn't feel compelled to play it again after my first game.

  • Heck yeah I'm still playing Skyrim! Bring on Dragonborn!
