The lights are on
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim released one year ago today, and it's a huge a game. Are you still playing it? This holiday season has had no shortage of huge expansive experiences. Assassin's Creed III offers a large open world with lots to do. Borderlands 2 has about 10 or 15 guns hidden across Pandora (there might be a few more, I'm not sure). Halo 4 has the Legendary difficulty, which should keep folks busy for a while, and a multiplayer mode that will keep people distracted until Halo 5 comes out. Then of course there is Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Resident Evil 6, and Paper Mario, a time-consuming RPG, that also released for 3DS today.
There are tons of games to play, many of which I did not list above, but I bet there are still a healthy number of gamers out there getting lost in the world of Skyrim. Even without the DLC, that game can steal your life away.
So what about you? Are you still playing Skyrim? Or have you moved onto something different?

I was hoping the article was going to recommend things to do for people who were still playing.. Like some of the higher quality mods or something.
I'm certainly not done with Skyrim, but I've been playing a few different Pokemon games lately to try and get a perfect team on Black 2.
I'm in the middle of GTA IV because GTA IV complete (all DLC) was less than $8 on Steam a few days ago. Pretty fun game besides the low performance that comes with such a *** console port.
My sister still plays it. She has encountered a lot of glitches that force her to make new save files. It's the PS3 version, so there's no surprise there. I'm also still waiting for the DLC. It doesn't bother me that much anymore though, I've moved on to other games. Games like GTA IV and Just Cause 2 (which I finally bought), and I've been going back to Oblivion and Fallout 3. I'll play Skyrim fully again once I get myself a gaming PC. GTA V is my next big purchase most likely, unless I get money beforehand so I can buy Assassin's Creed III.
I have put in a little over 300 hours into the game. I still get on every once in a while to mess around. I probably wont go fully into it until the next expansion comes out for PC.
I never play one game non-stop, I'm always going back to games, or skipping around with different games, so I'm always still playing all the games I have.
I played Skyrim last week before Halo 4 came out.
I'm think of making a new character based off of Tim The Enchanter
but i got it for the PS3 so i will really start playing it when the DLC comes out for it. for now i need to finish some of the other games that i got like Dark Souls, Heavenly Sword, Folklore, beating the other ending of Nier, and other DLC games like Odin Sphere and what not
too many games to beat to just play one game :(
Ok, I don't exactly follow the popular logic that says releasing dlc w/in a couple of weeks is how to get it done. Know what? From Feb. to June, no Skyrim (or Batman: AC for that matter) till some "fresh" content rolled out, then boom, there went a good portion of my summer. Not that Dawngaurd took it all up, but I was nowhere near finishing the game when I sat the controller down. Since then, not so much, but the upcoming Dragonborn dlc is sure to suck me in again thigh the new year. This is how to pull people back in again and again, this is how to release dlc so it means something to me.. I only had money for 1 game this season, and Borderlands 2, I choose you, but not your dlc, yet, maybe later, like when your season pass goes on sale.
I took a break to play ACIII and Halo 4. I'll be back for Dragonborn though.
Stopped playing it the second I got Skyward Sword. I have been meaning to go back to it, though.
Still playing it to this day. Mods offer unlimited amount of replays.
I'm still yet to finish the MQ but probably will do in about 3 years
Sad to say I haven't in a while. With other awesome games that have come out since it's release mixed with my disappointment over the DLC debacle, I just kinda left Skyrim for a while. I shall return one day hopefully and when I do maybe I'll have some of that new content goodness waiting for me.
I love Skyrim and I do continue to play it when I have nothing else to play but this fall season has been quite busy lately. I'm also a PS3 owner so I don't have any of this new content otherwise I would be putting other games aside to play more Skyrim.
I'm still playing Skyrim at times. I've always jumped back and forth between a bunch of different games, and right now my main ones include Assassin's Creed III, Skyrim, Halo: Combat Evolved, and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for Game Cube. I also still play Star Wars Battlefront.
I don't stop playing an Elder Scrolls game until the next one comes out. Granted that doesn't mean its all I play, I keep it in rotation with whatever else I'm playing that month. I've got it for 360 but now that I've got a desktop that can run just fine I'm working towards getting that version.. I can't help it, I'm a sucker for mods.
