The lights are on
Even though the Wii U does not release until next Sunday, some Wii U games are already heading out to pre-order customers.
Joystiq is reporting that customers who pre-ordered Wii U games from Amazon.com have already begun to receive them in mail. They have photographic proof of one excited Wii U fan and his advance copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops II, which he won't be able to play for a little over a week. It kind of looks like the image below, but with shrink wrap on it.

Pretty smart idea for the 3rd party games and publishers. Raise attention on their games above the others coming out on the Wii U--and further increase exposure of the system.
Smart. Locks customers into their Wii U preorder for those who may have changed their minds, though that may not have been the case for many people
That's really neat to have games already when your console come trough the door.

The only time getting a video game early could possibly frustrate you.
