The lights are on
Nintendo is hosting a midnight launch event for the Wii U at the Nintendo World Store at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime will be on hand, too. Fans waiting in line also receive "premium items" while supplies last, though what those items are exactly have not been detailed.
The Wii U goes on sale November 18.
Since I can't get a WiiU until possibly Xmas, I think I might just play Halo 4 that night.
Wish I was up there to go to the midnight release. Oh well, guess I will just go to Game Stop's "early opening" on Sunday the 18th.
Nice... I'm actually a little bit excited to see this launch and then see its statistics in December. I'm wondering how many units of this will be sold compared to how many units of COD Black Ops 2 will be sold.
It's gonna be big. Can't wait to get a Wii U!
So much gaming to do this winter halo 4,black ops 2, zombie u, super Mario u, skyrims dragon born good thing I took a week off starting December 24
Nice, I'll be there. Thought they would do it at Toys R Us again, wonder how long Reggie will hang out there.

My GameStop is having a Midnight opening! But it is no where near going to be as awesome as being at the Nintendo Store!
Too late for my sake, but kudos to any that can cherish that blissful night. I'm getting mine on that afternoon, probably (Don't flake out Best Buy!).
