The lights are on
In September, BioWare revealed upcoming plans that included a brand new franchise as well as new Mass Effect title. Executive producer Casey Hudson wants to know what you'd like to see in it. "We're in early stages of designing a completely new Mass Effect game. What would you want to see in it,'" Hudson said on Twitter.
Now's your chance. Where should BioWare take the series next?
I think I would like a far future story-line. Either that or a game based on when humanity discovered other species.
give me something from the past. and being a race other than human would be nice.
PUT IT ON THE WII U!! SAME DAY AND DATE AS THE OTHER CONSOLES!!!!
I guess it's ok, as long as Casey doesn't say what something is going to be, because then he'll just change his mind.
Let's see? Ok let us do something completely different than anything seen in Mass Effect. We can have a human in the military lets give him a rank let's say Commander. Then we can have him be the first human accepted into this elite alien coalition we can name them the spectres. THEN we can have him discover a cycle of death from sentient robotic entities we can just throw a name out there the reapers. Then we can go all out and make it a trilogy and what you do in each game matter. Then just to top it off we can have all those decisions become meaningless because no matter what you pick you get 1 out of 4 endings. Sounds perfect and completely new in the ME universe. Take that in the face Casey Hudson
More choices besides good and bad.
I'd like to see something more than fighting aliens or ominous godlike beings. Maybe set it in the Turian War and you play as a Turian? That would be a neat change of pace. Games try to focus too much on averting apocalypse. Now that that's over, it's a good chance to make it more personal.
Should let players pick their race. I wouldn't mind being a Krogan or Quarian for a playthrough ^.^
Give us an epic adventure that follows at some point after the events of the first trilogy. It would be interesting to pick up the story decades or maybe even a century or two after the end of ME3. A story involving the re-establishment of intergalactic travel would be great. Extragalactic travel would be even better - I'd love to see the story move into another galaxy altogether.
Forget Mass Effect 3 and all the mistakes they made in that game. Mass Effect 3 was a failure, never try that crap again....
Fully branching stories
Choices have more meaning in the conclusion
Ability to play as a different race or species
More contained, smaller scale story
Another Mass Effect game worries me that they would put the story in the future after Mass Effect 3. Why this worries me is that they could do some bumbly hocus pocus and bring back Reapers or the Geth or something and negate player actions from the first three games even further, you know?
On a scale of an actual game, First Contact War would be cool to explore from both sides or perhaps even a glimpse far back into the past playing as the races before the Protheans, getting wiped out, and then having a taste of Prothean life. Or maybe just not making a game.
Archangel spinoff. Or hey- make a new game. If you stretch this series too far it's going to break. We've already begun to feel the tears. (Obvious examples include basically all the mistakes in Mass Effect 3)
Combat of Mass Effect 3. But I want everything else to be exactly like Mass Effect 1.
more of the same but maybe start w/a different race to see there prespective of the universe. To all the trolls: you already got the doctors to retire; what other great developers you want to trash because you dont like there publisher or there ending. we r losing great minds in gaming dont let it be because of a minority of gamers. You ruin it for the rest of us. Casey hudson & ME team if r reading these suggestions I appreciate the experience you have allowed so many of us 2 take part in. Thank u & keep up the good work.
Dear Bioware,
*** you! Have fun playing with StarChild.
Sincerely,
A big fan from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
