Final Fantasy Tactics Creator Leaves Level-5
Yasumi Matsuno isn't a household name, but he worked on titles like Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Final Fantasy XII at Square before moving on to Level-5. Now Matsuno is moving on again.
The only game Matsuno made at Level-5 was Crimson Shroud, a 3DS RPG that is part of the Guild01 compilation, which still doesn't have an official release here in the U.S. Matsuno recently tweeted, "I’d like to formally announce my departure from Level-5, effective last month. With my work done on the domestic and overseas version of my latest 3DSWare game, it was good timing for me to step down and take a short break in order to recharge for my next project. My deepest thanks to everyone at Level-5 and everyone playing our games for your continued support."
