The lights are on
It's fun to gun someone down in Call of Duty, and Activision is betting it's also fun to watch. Black Ops II's video streaming feature just found a wider audience thanks to hosting on YouTube.
The live gameplay videos users take in multiplayer League Play can now be streamed to YouTube (with a verified account), complete with the player's webcam and audio commentary if applicable. These streams are also watchable in Call of Duty Elite. If you're a member of the service, you can also click on users' names and find out stats about them such as their loadouts and other data.
Activision says that there will be some restrictions with the live streams, but it didn't specify what. If you like to game in the nude, we imagine it's best to turn your webcam off.
Today's announcement applies only to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Black Ops II. The company did not mention the PC and Wii U editions.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II comes out on November 13 (and November 18 for Wii U).

5 days, baby! It'll be fun too see what Treyarch has brought to the table this year. I loved the original Black Ops, and I'm still playing it online with my friends! I prefer it a heck-of-alot more than MW3. The only reason me and my friends even TOUCH that game is either Infection, or a little bit of Survival. Either ways, Black Ops 2 is gonna be a fun game I can tell, and with all the changes Treyarch is bringing to the table, I think this could be one of the best Call of Duty's since CoD4. Come Tuesday of next week, I'm gonna be having alot of fun! And it'll be right after I return from Washington, D.C too
And here's yet another cool feature to get added to this game. After hearing all of the great things about Black Ops II, I'm getting more excited for its upcoming release. Hopefully I'll be able to rake in the cash to buy this.
MUST GET BLACK OPS 2
Hopefully it isn't just more of the same.
I can't wait to get this game tomorrow. SO excited.
