First Wii U Retail Game Arrives

The very first Wii U retail game arrived today at the Game Informer office in Minneapolis. Ubisoft sent a copy of Rabbids Land. The package does include a 4-page, black and white manual with a note that you can access the in-game manual by pressing the HOME button and touching the eManual button on the Wii U Gamepad.

And yes, the game case, at least for this Ubisoft title, has the environmental holes cut into both the front and back..

I see a lot of people complaining that the case is blue. Does everybody forget that the Xbox cases are bright green and clear?

Woah. The cover looks pretty different when compared to the Wii (It is a little similar to the GameCube, though.). I think Nintendo overused the blue on it. It might look a little better with a second color in the mix. Anyways, i'm still very excited about the Wii U! I can't wait until I get one!

Aw c'mon UbiSoft, why not send Zombi U?

I'm not a big fan of the shade of blue they chose for the case. I think it would look better with a darker, richer blue.

Oh well, no biggie.

I just realized something that could help, instead of having the standard sized game boxes, it should be reduced to something like a cd case, it would provide more storage space, and be a bit more portable for single-double discs.......just an idea

I still have a hard time believing it's been 6 years since the Wii came out... I still remember being a mid-teen saving up money for the console so I could play Smash Bros Brawl when it released. Where does the time go?

Well I assume that is the color of the boxes for good, oh well, its the game that counts. Good cover art :). Only good party game on Nintendo's platform is Mario Kart. Now that I think about it, that's going to look pretty rad in hd.
