The lights are on
Ubisoft said today that estimated sales for Assassin's Creed III in the first week totaled 3.5 million units sold. This represents a 100 percent year-over-year increase from the previous title, the publisher said. The game released last week to rave reviews on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A Wii U version is out November 18 while PC is out November 20.
has some bugs but nothing too major that i have seen. Well done!
Congrats, Ubisoft! I'm working on my Completionist trophy. :)
Great game, crappy ending.
selling my copy today
Hope Halo 4 is good or I probably won't buy any other games besides GTA V
Amazing game. Good for them. :)
Too bad its a glitch filled re-hash that could of used a few more months of dev. With these results why would they stop pumping out the same game every year.
That is because the franchise branched out from the Altair / Ezio storyline and introduced a new character and time piece. If the next 3 Assassin Creed games are rehashed expansions of Connor in the same setting, expect those sales to not even get close.
I played the first AC for 5 minutes and didn't like it too much. But this one here... this one is great for anyone just getting into the series. You can get caught up on everything through the games database, the handling is good and the time era is the best (in my opinion).
I am into this game more for the information/lore of the game/history. Not that i don't like killing redcoats every second. The game does have bugs, but it takes away nothing from the game for me.
Assassin's Creed 3 is amazing defintley deserves those sales.
Ubisoft should be happy, right? Because some companies expect a large number to feel satisfied.
Here's to hoping that Ubisoft does the right thing for its AC fan base and releases another follow-on patch to address the bugs since they've obviously profited here...would probably help to keep the faith as the series continues (annually, I'm sure...sigh)
AC III is my game of the year!
This isn't surprising at all. It's legit.
Awesome news! Congratulations to Ubisoft.
