Political Kombat '12: Obama vs Romney Could Be Better Than Voting

Is this actually how we pick our President now? I haven't been paying attention to politics for a while.

You may have seen some of Slate's Political Kombat videos floating around already, but this is the matchup everyone wants to see. President Obama faces off against his mortal enemy Mitt Romney. Who will win?

  • awesome, forget electoral college, lets elect this way

  • Prepare the bunker, there are some political argument bombs on the horizon!
  • Tax evasion. Lol. It was more informative than I thought it would be. Luckily I have been following this election.
  • *GASP*!!!! THEY DIED!!!!

  • I love Romney's money shield

  • This needs to be on XBLA now.

  • Haha, that was awesome. Makes sense that they'd end this in a tie: A) avoid tons of flame wars by selecting a winner and B) both of the candidates are neck-and-neck. I liked "Slow-Ass Recovery" and "For and Against" :P
  • Romney never evaded taxes. He gave out his tax records and proved it. They make fun of Obama just as much as Romney but some of the jabs at Romney aren't funny because they aren't true. Even if they just didn't bother to check their facts it still ruins it.
  • I love how they ended it with a tie. Very well done. And pretty hilarious!

  • A duck does not steal bread, it merely claims what is forgotten.
  • I wonder what their fatalities are...
  • This will disintegrate into madness. Happens in every single political based article GIO puts up.
  • Brilliant.

  • Wasn't this posted here like a month ago? Could've sworn I've seen it on here before.
  • You can click on either party at the end to see their fatality and a wrap-up. I think it would have been funnier if the liberal party came in at the end and stole the win. Poor liberal party.
  • Yep. That's how it works folks.

  • The son gazing really got me :)

  • I think I just peed myself for the second time tonight thanks to GI!
  • I thought they were elected based on the number of signs and bumper stickers people have, endorsing them. I'd hate to be the guy who'd have to go around counting all of them.
