The lights are on
Following the recent news that Disney has acquired LucasFilm to the tune of a cool $4 billion, Darth Vader decided it was time for a little vacation.
This video, posted today on the official Disney Parks YouTube channel, shows the Sith Lord enjoying himself with some stormtroopers at Disneyland. It's pretty funny.

funny stuff. Though, every time I've taken my kid to DL, they've had a star wars stage show. In retrospect, this buyout isn't too surprising
that upbeat version of the imperial march was funny
It's been on for awhile Gameinformer...
While I'm not happy that this deal went down, I enjoyed the clip. I found it amusing.
As bad I don't like the thought of somebody else doing a Star Wars movie, I'm kind of glad somebody else is. I thought Disney done a great job with the Pirates of the Carribean, and it shows they have the money to make a really high quality movie. If they don't think they can do it, they'll just pay someone who will. I mean, they own Marvel, and look at how amazing the new Avengers movie was (at least I thought it was amazing). I think they'll do fine.
The video is awesome! But wasn't this released a while ago... had a weird feeling of Deja vu.
I'll admit the commercial is cool as hell but I still think this is wrong. This is just not right.....
This is still wrong on the inner nerd T-T Poor Star Wars, Vader you will still be a hero to me even if you are now being degraded by Disney :P Epic Rap Battles still made you an additional bad ass.
Joe, in terms of production values, this footage was cut from a previous video Disney made, introducing Star Tours.
All of the footage seen above is also in this video.
it looks like they already pre planned it before it became a world wide deal.its so hard to imagine that Lucas films didn't last long enough to be a one and only business to last with no other franchise partnered with.
Hilarious...If I could've, I would have been out there with him !
I'm very happy to see Darth Vader found a new Empire!
Darth Vader was already loose in Hollywood Studios in Florida. But I'm not disappointed at Disney buying the Star Wars franchise. I mean, they have Marvel, and the Live Action movie did not disappoint, and the Pixar films aren't even bad to begin with.
Pixar making CG Star Wars films... one can dream.
Being the dark lord of the Sith must be pretty awesome. I can't even get into Space Mountain, let alone without a line in front and behind me.
