Dragon Quest VII Remake Coming To 3DS
Update 2: Square Enix's North American representatives responded saying, "We’re currently evaluating the title for the Western markets, but nothing has been determined."

Update: Square Enix Japan confirmed the news on its official website with a release date of February 7. There's still no word on a North American release.

Original Story: According to the latest issued of Jump magazine in Japan, Square Enix announced a 3DS remake of the PlayStation version of Dragon Quest VII. The new version allows players to exchange of “lithographs” via StreetPass. The report also says the game arrives on February 2013 in Japan.
Game Informer has followed up with Square Enix to confirm the accuracy of the report and whether or not the game is coming to North America.
