The lights are on
Electronic Arts is disappointed with the early results of Medal of Honor Warfighter.
While EA didn't disclose specific sales figures yet, the publisher indicated things aren't going too well. “The Medal of Honor launch is coming in below our expectations," said CEO John Riccitiello. The average review score for the game currently sits in the low 50s.
EA says, however, that Medal of Honor Warfighter topped its first week in sales in the UK. An update on North American sales were not provided at this time.
“We’re disappointed with the critical reception," added Frank Gibeau, president of EA's Labels. "Our internal testing and mock reviews indicated that the game is better than the actual score we have right now. We believe it is.
"However, we are seeing some folks out there that just don’t like the game."
EA says it will continue to support the game with marketing and additional content going forward.
People are tired from this kind of games, it's the same thing just like B3, COD, and those stupid DLC'S... and also why pay if people going to have Warface for free?
No surprise there, this isn't anything new. We have seen this all before, go for something new!
Well seeing as it reviewed so poorly and it needed all those day one patches I'm not surprised.
