The lights are on
A 1996 advertisement featuring Mario being blown away by Sonic's ability to exist in a 3D world showed up recently on YouTube. The video appeared on NeoGAF posted by user Mama Robotnik.
This is never before seen video of the never released Sonic X-Treme, and I've got to say, it looks borderline unplayable. If only the Mario in this ad knew that Super Mario 64 was just around the corner, maybe he wouldn't have been so stressed out.

It hurt my eyes D:
Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present to you the pinnacle of terrible stereotype commercial ads of the 90s. X-TREME!!!!
The game looks barely playable, but it looks pretty cool and the commercial is neat. Also, since when did Mario smoke? XD
Man, everything in that ad was awful. XD
This game looks absolutely awful.
That game is cringe-worthy horrible.
Sonic extreme is one sweet game :)
I see why it was never released, that looked awful.
