Old Sonic Ad Shows Off Sonic X-Treme Gameplay

A 1996 advertisement featuring Mario being blown away by Sonic's ability to exist in a 3D world showed up recently on YouTube. The video appeared on NeoGAF posted by user Mama Robotnik.

This is never before seen video of the never released Sonic X-Treme, and I've got to say, it looks borderline unplayable. If only the Mario in this ad knew that Super Mario 64 was just around the corner, maybe he wouldn't have been so stressed out.
