Warner Bros. Vet Heads Up Epic Games' Seattle Office

Epic Games has announced that it has hired Laura Fryer as general manager for Epic's new Seattle Studio.

The studio is "focused on engineering efforts" for Unreal Engine 4 tech, according to the press release, but doesn't say more than that.

Fryer spent four years as GM of WB Games Seattle, which included overseeing Gotham City Imposters, the Monolith studio, and Guardians of Middle-earth, and she was also one of Microsoft Game Studios' first employees.

  • Nice Unreal Engine 4. Anyways, at least she is in Epic now, I hate Warner Brothers after they sent a desist letter to the MERP team. (Middle Earth Role Playing project a total conversion for Skyrim.)

  • Awesome and exciting news.

  • I saw the U4 logo and I thought it was Unreal Tournament 4...I can't really get upset because the logo would have said UT4. Ah well, if it's news on Unreal Engine 4 then that means that news on Unreal Tournament 4 is on the way, right?

  • I knew it, Epic Games has binders full of women too! **BRAAAHHHH**, all I got is a cocktail napkin..
