CD Projekt RED's Cyberpunk Adaptation

Polish studio CD Projekt RED (The Witcher series) has announced a name change and more details about its RPG now called Cyberpunk 2077.

The game, which has no release date or hosting consoles, is based on the pen-and-paper RPG by Mike Pondsmith, who is also helping with the title.

CD Projekt RED promises to be faithful to the game (including some of the landmarks of Night City), and says the game will be non-linear, mature in nature, and have divergent story paths.

I have yet to play Witcher 2, but I'm incredibly excited to play a highly divergent sci-fi story, and CD sound extremely talented. Gotta love some quality sci-fi! :)

Great to see an open world steam-punk game, especially from CD-projekt RED, since Prey 2 is currently in game development limbo.

wait...am i reading this correctly?! Cyberpunk?! holy crap! its been years since i have played Cyberpunk! hmm. anyone old enough to know what a pen and paper rpg is anymore? lmao
just hope they can live up to the actual rpg. would be tough to compete against Shadowrun.
oh and i didn't think Pondsmith made the original Cyberpunk rpg, I thought someone else did..hmm.
