The lights are on
The PlayStation Store is getting a makeover. Starting October 23 in North America and October 17 in Europe, the store features a new search function, layout, and more. Sony unveiled the new store at its headquarters in London today.
Here's a rundown of the new store features from Sony:
Aside from the totally re-imagined user interface with brilliant visuals and branded destinations that showcase content, the new PlayStation Store also adds predictive search, improving filtering to make search easier and faster. It also offers more in-depth information about purchases, demos and free trials, as well as movies, TV shows, games and apps, letting users browse and discover new types of content.
Hmm... Not sure what I think about this. I like the blue color scheme more.
I'm not sure I like this.
Glad to know they care about consumer feedback.
Yes! The PlayStation Store has been looking completely obselete to the the Xbox Marketplace. This is an upgrade. I can't wait to see the improvements.
The search function was one of my biggest gripes about the PS Store. This looks like a much needed overhaul. Good job Sony!
I like the look. Been playing on an Xbox for the MOH: Warfighter Beta and their market was a little more intuitive and visually striking. The new PS Store looks even better IMO. It will take a little getting used to but a positive change to be sure.
It better be more organized than before. Compared to XBLA it was really irritating.
Looks good, just have to see how well it functions.
