Call Of Duty For Vita Will Not Include Zombies Mode
Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified is coming to Vita next year, but it won't have any zombies shambling behind it.
According to Activision representative Dan Amrich, the fan favorite zombies mode is being cut so that the team can focus strictly on the single-player and multiplayer components of the game. "This is the first Call of Duty game on Vita, and it needs to deliver on its core strengths - arguably, multiplayer gaming with twin-stick controls in a portable format," said Amrich.
In lieu of zombies, but not necessarily intended as a replacement, the game will offer Hostiles Mode, which will place you against waves of bots, but they won't be of the brain-eating undead variety.
