The lights are on
The Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn webseries debuted today. The live-action series, which shows how the conflict between the human and Covenant forces, is a collaboration between 343 Industries and Machinima.
In addition to providing valuable insights on Halo's incredibly rich lore, the series highlights cadet Thomas Lasky as he comes to terms with his mixed emotions about the war and doubt about his leadership capabilities.
The following episodes will appear weekly, leading up to the worldwide launch of Halo 4 on November 6.

Halo is above the rest when it comes to their live action. I expected no less from this :)
Very high production value. I'm really impressed so far by this, as most video games turned into web series generally aren't that great. With the likely success of this show, as well as the success of Halo 4, we may see another attempt at a Halo movie yet.
Could they pick scrawnier actors. Geeze.
I'm not even a big halo fan, but I love this stuff, they really have a great idea and tone set for the series. It is really unfortunate that a full on big budget movie has not been made, yet I think fans always do it the best. Great job!
That was great, can't wait for the rest.
Is it just me or did anyone else think that squad leader sounded really funny at 8:18 i laughed so hard when i heard her.
that was great!
What's with all the references to ancient Rome? It's a very nice effort by the way.
Huh, part of that looked like it was filmed at SFU.
So what's that mean? 4 or 5 episodes?
