The lights are on
In August, Valve announced non-gaming software would be sold through Stream. The company today revealed the first titles available for purchase.
The software titles now available through Steam are:
"Many of the launch titles will take advantage of popular Steamworks features, such as easy installation, automatic updating, and the ability to save your work to your personal Steam Cloud space so your files may travel with you,' Valve says.
"GameMaker Studio, for example, features integration with Steam Workshop that allows GameMaker users to share their work via Steam."
Valve says each software title is available at 10% off for the week.
cool, it makes sense to put 3dmark on there since almost exclusively gamers use it
SWEET!
i thought the title read "fromsoftware" never mind... carry on.
I totally forgot about this. Kudos for Valve anyways, I doubt I'll be purchasing anything soon but it's nice to know it's there, just in case.
It's good news despite the fact that I probably won't use it.
Cool.
And soon, Steam will have everything.
I hope valve just makes a steam OS and just takes over
Great to see Valve expanding the horizons for Steam.
And in future news the year is 2130 and Half Life 3 is announced!
Cool beans, I guess.
