The lights are on
It's short notice, but Sony has announced the digital comic store for the PSP will be shutting down on October 30.
There's a brief FAQ following the announcement on Sony's website that explains why the service is closing down:
"We stopped providing new content to the Comic Store last summer to focus on bringing the comic service to other Sony devices. Our focus now is to bring more digital entertainment services to our products."

Whoops, check the date. It goes down in one month, not one day. Small typo, easily fixed!
Tomorrow isn't October 30th, Kyle.
This is sad for people who luv their PSP(s). I'm getting a Vita soon and I'm pretty sure this is where the digital comics is gonna come now.
C'mon Kyle, you're losing it man.
On a related note, I didn't even know psp had a digital comics service...
Tomorrow, October 30th, huh? Great Scott, It Worked! My time machine worked!
I bought quite a few comics there...good times. Too bad my PSP broke, but I guess this makes it easier to deal with this shutting down I guess.
I thought I sent a news tip about this months ago....No worries though.
I almost got scared that I didn't get Assassin's Creed 3 today, but thank the GODS.
Well guys Kyle Hilliard is obviously a Time Lord...........
