Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge Will Receive More Free DLC

If playing a bloody game staring Ninja's isn't enough, then maybe you should check out Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge. Not only is it a bloody game staring Ninjas, but Team Ninja plans to release some free downloadable content for the game after its release.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is an updated Wii U release to March's release for PS3 and Xbox 360. The Wii U version hopes to fix some of the issues people complained about the first time around. Razor's Edge is a bloodier title. Team Ninja has reintroduced dismemberment into the series and will allow players to perform special attacks using the Wii U's touch pad.

"We can't give details about the DLC this evening," said Team Ninja head Yosuke Hayashi. "But we can tell you that series fans are going to love it!"

The developer has already said that Razor's Edge will include all of the previously released DLC on the Wii U disc, so this sounds like new content. Must be hats.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge slices onto the Wii U on November 18, check out our review of the original release here.

  • Definitely gonna have to get this on the WiiU now.

  • Ironically they put dismemberment on Nintendo. ANywho, got to get this game now!
  • I thought fans were complaining because the gameplay felt watered down and like the campaign was inspired by Call of Duty... not lack of dismemberment.
  • This gonna be my 1st game for the Wii U! :D
  • I loved Ninja Gaiden on the NES but the new ones leave me cold.

  • cool

  • So everyone bought a prototype back in March?

  • GI needs to hire a proofreader. This is getting ridiculous.

  • The Wii U version is definitely better.

  • It's good to hear they're retooling it for the Wii U per complaints about the previous version.  I hated the second game, though.  And I really hated what Team Ninja did to Metroid.  Thankfully, here are tons of other games coming out to pick from.

  • Well hey, I like ninjas, I like dismemberment, and I like free DLC! I think I'll get this then! ...Right after I beat the first game and get the second one.
  • I just find it highly ironic that the best version of this game(dismemberment and all) is on the Wii U.
  • I wonder how much the retooled in this game, something I heard many complain about was simply how the battles were designed. Not just the lack of special moves and weapons. I wonder if the fixed that as well.

  • Now only if it does not have all of the other problems the other versions had.

  • they are just doing this so nintendo fans buy the game. In the end the game will be just a port of the other versions with more content and gore; in other words it will still suck.
  • Oh, so they are going to try and make it better. Well, that's good. I will now withhold any judgement until it's released.

  • Hat DLC is the best!

  • great Ninja

  • think most ps3 only japan ninja think
