Borderlands 2 DLC May Sail To The Desert

Borderlands 2 has four DLC packs coming shortly after the game's release on Tuesday, but we don't know anything about their contents. According to Randy Pitchford, executive producer of Borderlands 2, at least one of them may look something like the opening of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.

"I've always wanted to ride a sail barge and drive a sand skiff. I've always wanted to do that, and we've got some cool stuff that's along those lines," said Pitchford.

Sounds cool to me.

  • Not a fan of early DLC to be honest. Space that stuff out or include it in the game plz.

  • all the want

  • Every tidbit released about this game increases my excitement meter.  Just. One. More. Day...

  • Gearbox has rarely ever failed when it comes to DLC.  They know how to pace them out well, they take the time to fully develop them, and make them feel distinct.  You couldn't help but laugh at Claptrap's New Revolution or The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned and The Knoxx DLC was a true test of your skills and gear.  The Moxie DLC left me feeling ubsatisfied, but the bank and weapons storage ability were a definite plus.

  • Can't wait to see the Test Chamber of this game. I couldn't get into the first one for some reason but this is looking pretty good. We'll see after October & November if I still want to try it out.

  • If the dlc is as cool as the ones from Borderlands 1 than wecan expct it to be awsome a s#$t
  • As long as it´s free, if they charge for the DLC I don´t get how people don´t see that they are being stolen. I bet this 4 DLC´s are already in the game but are locked like what happened to dragons dogma and mass effect.
  • I find it rather telling how when any other game is talking about their DLC before the games release everyone will jump down their throat for trying to make people pay more money. Yet, I haven't heard a single person b*tch and moan about Borderlands 2 DLC. Sometimes the internet annoys me.
  • Wooo 10 hours left!

  • Oops I meant 20

  • Sounds neat.

  • I can't wait. I absolutely loved the first one, even though I only played it by myself.
  • yes more brown! there wasnt enough in the first one

  • know what would be nice, free dlc for those who bought it new
  • Hahahhah it sounds cool to me, too.

  • I am so getting the Season pass....And play the hell out of the Mechromancer

  • 11:42 p.m. Thanks for burning the midnight oil GameInformer.

  • Awesome.

  • That doesn't really say much though.  I'm just hoping I'll be playing the game still in June 2013.

  • The Clap-Trap & Zombie Island DLCs were my favorites from the last game. I liked General Knoxx the character, but the DLC overall wasn't that impressive - the lack of fast travels was annoying & driving back to previous locations over & over was monotonous. As for Moxxi... I'd rather not talk about that DLC, HAHA! I didn't hate it, but I could have done without it.
