The lights are on
There was a heavily updated Cave Story for 3DS that released last year, but this isn't that version. This is the original 2D version of Cave Story updated with some 3D visuals.
This is basically the Cave Story+ that is available on PC through Steam, but without the HD art and music. It will have layered 3D effects taking advantage of that little switch to the right of the top screen on the Nintendo 3DS, though.
The game will be available on October 4 for $9.99.

They need to stop cashing in on this game. It's ridiculous.
It sounds interesting. I might end up buying it on launch day. For $9.99, I am going to have to give it quite a bit of thought (especially when considering that I am restricted on eShop money), but I might get it. I know that a lot of people say that Cave Story was great, so I might just try Cave Story with this game.
This has nothing to do with this but... Try to play The Denpa Men before it comes out so I can get a feel for it :D
they're really going overboard with versions of this game...
