The lights are on
Update: After opening up pre-orders for Nintendo's new console immediately after Thursday's press conference, GameStop has already filled its quota for the $349.99 bundle.
It looks like the Basic bundle is still available for pre-order.
Thanks to Mrs. Featherbottom for the news tip!
Want to lock in your preferred version of the new console?
On the heels of the release date announcement from Nintendo, GameStop has opened preorders for both versions of the Wii U. In addition, announced games including ZombiU, New Super Mario Bros. U, and Call of Duty Black Ops II are also available.
The console can be ordered in one of two options. The Basic Set costs $299.99, and includes an 8 GB white Wii U and white Wii U GamePad. The Deluxe Set will run you $349.99, and it includes a 32 GB black Wii U, a black Wii U GamePad, GamePad Cradle, Wii U console stand, and pack-in title Nintendo Land.
GameStop is offering trade-in bonuses for any older game systems you're ready to get rid of, with additional trade-in value on each system trade for PowerUp Rewards members.

Looks like I have to get the white one
I'm glad to see that they're selling out on pre-orders. Good for Nintendo! And, people said that the WiiU wouldn't even sell, that no one was interested in it.
Apparently Best Buy has sold out too.
Lol no! Didn't they say something about learning from their mistake with the 3DS?
Brand new computers are fun to get too :P
