The lights are on
Update: PlayStation 3 sessions are now a part of the picture. Tomorrow night, Game Informer editors will host games for the community on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Come join the loot fest!
Original Story: Game Informer's Borderlands 2 live stream has begun! Click the link above to watch. Editors Dan Ryckert, Tim Turi, Jeff Marchiafava, and I are starting things off with a dedicated co-op session. As the stream progresses, these editors are splintering off to host their own games on Xbox Live for you the viewers to join. We don't have a specified end time for the stream, and hope to interact with as many of you as possible.
Periodically throughout the night, special guests are joining us both in the studio and over Xbox Live. One of our guests is Gearbox Software's own Mikey Neumann. Mikey is playing the role of Salvador Santa, and could drop by any of our games at any time to give out rare loot. In addition to the in-game goodies, we are also giving away copies of Borderlands 2 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, as well as Borderlands 2-themed merchandise via live chat.

You guys are really going all out for this one! I like it. I'll definitely be taking breaks from my own marathon session to tune in for a bit. This is why I love this site so much, theres always something great to look forward to.

Hmm... This livestream could be integral to my decision to buy the game or not. I really had a fun time with the first Borderlands, but this one needs to be even better for me to find time to squeeze it into my schedule.
