Looks like I'll be getting Pikmin 3, Rayman Legens, the premium system for $349, and maybe The Wonderful 101.
Looks like 2006 all over again. I'm gonna take a back seat and see what happens.
It's good to see that Nintendo finally gets the point that people want actual games to play with a new system.
I will buy one when the new Mario comes out, but the rest are all games I have played on other systems already. I wish there were more truly "new" titles. Nintendo is screaming "look me too!" on a bunch of these.
Man, launch windows just keep getting longer and longer.
I think I'm going to hold off until I see some more "buy or die" exclusives. Mario of course will be good and Zombi U looks interesting, but I need more than that to justify buying the console.
A game for every 2.06 days of the launch window.
Safe to say there's going to be support for the WiiU.
The hardware is interesting but that launch lineup doesn't inspire. How many of those titles can be found on another current-gen console, tablet, or smartphone? It seems Nintendo believes that they can convert Wii casuals into WiiU hardcores. Problem is although casuals are what propelled Wii sales they are also the ones that left it hanging high and dry the last couple years by abandoning it for their phones and iPads.
Zombie U has the most of my interest here. i'd say AC3, but i'd rather (and matter of fact am)get it on the PS3.
So glad to finally see Nintendo getting in on the cross platform games.
If i have the money come November i am picking this up
That seems like a lot. That's a good sign!
I think I will just wait for Zelda in 2014 to get the Wii U. And by then there will be a possible price drop for the Wii U when the PS4, Xbox 720 rolls around.
I remember EA saying that Battlefield 3 would be a release title as well. They said this at E3.... and would only make sense because BLOPS2 will probably be as well.
The key thing that Nintendo needs to add RIGHT now is a badge system. Steam has it. 360 has it. Ps3 learned its lesson. For multiplatform games to sell you have to be able to offer a rewards system.
Pikmin 3 and Zombi u are the 2 launch titles that look "fantastic" in my eyes.
