Terraria Bringing New Content To Consoles In 2013

by Andrew Reiner on Sep 11, 2012 at 04:50 AM

A cryptic message "Something is bubbling in the Terraria pot..." appeared on Re-Logic's Terraria Facebook page yesterday. The "bubbling" news is that Terraria is coming to PlayStation Network and Xbox Live next year through developer Engine Software and publisher 505 Games.

The console versions are not direct ports. Engine Software is adding new content. "I can't wait for everyone to see the additional features that they've been able to bring to this new edition of the game," says Terraria creator Andrew Spinks. Terraria is currently available on Steam for $9.99, and has sold 1.6 million copies since it's debut in 2011.
