by Ben Reeves on Sep 07, 2012 at 03:01 PM

Enjoy playing Android tablet games, but wish you had a more traditional controller in your hand, maybe the Wikipad is for you. The new tablet with detachable gamepad controls comes out October 31.

The tablet will be priced at $499, and those who pre-order the machine through Game Stop will also receive a couple full-length game releases and an issue of Game Informer Digital.

The Wikipad features Android 4.1, a 1200x800 10.1" screen, an Nvidia Tegra 3 T30 1.4 GHz processor, 1GB DDR2 RAM, and 16GB of flash storage (expandable to 64GB). Owners will be able to access a full suite of games delivered through platforms like PlayStation Mobile, NVIDIA’s Tegra Zone, and Google Play.
