The lights are on
Enjoy playing Android tablet games, but wish you had a more traditional controller in your hand, maybe the Wikipad is for you. The new tablet with detachable gamepad controls comes out October 31.
The tablet will be priced at $499, and those who pre-order the machine through Game Stop will also receive a couple full-length game releases and an issue of Game Informer Digital.
The Wikipad features Android 4.1, a 1200x800 10.1" screen, an Nvidia Tegra 3 T30 1.4 GHz processor, 1GB DDR2 RAM, and 16GB of flash storage (expandable to 64GB). Owners will be able to access a full suite of games delivered through platforms like PlayStation Mobile, NVIDIA’s Tegra Zone, and Google Play.
Email the author Ben Reeves, or follow on Twitter, Google+, Facebook, and Game Informer.
Ehhhh... IMO there's not enough games worth playing on Android to justify a purchase. I'll stick to my 3DS and PC, thank you.
Certainly looks interesting...
More like wicked pad...I am sorry.
Gameinformer Digital, worse magazine ever :P
LOL! And people thought that "Apple" came out with a device every month! XD
I know that its not just 1 company that makes the android tablets, but you hear every day that there's a new "Ice cream" O.S. LOL!
If I was interested in tablets, this would be the one I would get.
This picture doesn't show it, but has 4 shoulder buttons as well
Very mixed on this one
I will consider this, since I just sold my tablet and wanted a replacement.
