The lights are on
Blizzard has started its beta test for Heart of the Swarm, and although it's mostly limited to press and pro gamers right now, the company has released a friendly reminder on how to make your account eligible for participation.
The Heart of the Swarm beta officially went live last night, and Blizzard says it will soon send out invitations to more players. To considered for the beta, players should log into their Battle.net account, and select "Beta Profile Settings" under "Account Management." Blizzard also states that players you are active StarCraft II players are more likely to be chosen. Additionally you can win access to the beta through various StarCraft II fan sites.
For more information on the beta, check out Blizzard's mini-FAQ. While you're waiting, why not check out Adam's breakdown of the new StarCraft II units?
